Jindia Foundation USA
Jindia Foundation is engaged in the following activities in USA:
1. Scholarships
Giving scholarships to two students at Southern University in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana. The foundation has been giving these scholarships each year
since 2001.
2. Helping
Tsunami Victims
Donated a house to the Tsunami victims in Tamil Nadu, India, through the
Rotary Club of Nabha, in July 2006. Ramesh
Kumar Jindia the President of Jindia Foundation in India personally visited the
area in Nagapatinam where Tsunami tides arose. He met the Tsunami sufferers and
donated the money for one house. Rotary Club had Constructed 75 Houses for them,
one of which we had donated. The recipients of these houses were selected by the
Rotary International in consultation with the local Government of the affected
area.

One Teacher School
One Ekal Vidyalaya school (One teacher
school) has been sponsored by the foundation since 2006. The school supported by
the foundation is located in the tribal area of Madhya Pradesh, in village
Bheempura, district Bhind. Nearest railway station is Gwalior, and the village
is nearly 90 km from Gwalior. Village population is 1900 with literacy rate of
15%. The school has 28 students and teacher is Charan Singh. For further
